Media content managers on a large scale need a very consistent and easy-to-use interface. In this case, I was mostly focused on the visual design, providing a responsive layout and a complete pattern library that would be internally implemented.
I worked with a developer, making sure that performance and accessibility were part of the deliverable. We were asked to create a template that different clients would customise, contextualising the experience into a branded layout.
The risk of free reign on design decisions was a concern, so we created some boundaries around those options to limit the number of colours and make sure that basic decisions like contrast, typography, and brand placement didn’t affect the overall experience.
